You might be asking, "why?" or "why now?"

Do you find yourself struggling with anxiety, feeling the weight of depression, or the overwhelm from a loss in your life? Perhaps you are just trying to find a firm ground to step on due to painful and traumatic life events and need a safe space to explore your thoughts and feel the emotions that have been numbed, kept secret, or ignored and pushed down because it hurts too much to feel them. In counseling, I help you to find answers to your questions, to make meaning of them and ultimately experience healing, growth and find your own authentic self.

In therapy I partner with you.

Through the integration of a strength's based approach to counseling, I utilize various therapeutic interventions and modalities including behavioral therapy, mindfulness, trauma-informed and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), somatic experiencing, sensory based mind-body psychology, psychodynamic, Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).

I specialize in trauma and post-traumatic growth. My passion as a therapist is to come alongside you, to help navigate the issues that keep you feeling stuck and disconnected from your yourself and others. Wherever you're at, and whatever has become intolerable such that you are now bravely seeking out help... I am here to gently guide you to your goals. Let’s work on true, deep healing and leave the bandaids in the cupboard where they belong.

COURAGE doesn’t require we have all the answers. COURAGE comes when we are ready to face the questions we’ve been avoiding.
